You'll hear from us through a combination of email, phone calls, meetings, and site walkthroughs, with email and phone being the most common ways we keep you informed.
Permitting Coordination
Permitting and Nantucket Historic District Commission applications are typically handled by your architect, with our team coordinating as needed to keep design and construction aligned.
Consistent Communication
Whether it's a quick update or a bigger decision point, you'll always know where the project stands, without having to chase down information or wait for a scheduled check-in.
Typical Project Timelines
Every home is different, but most projects on Nantucket follow a similar rhythm shaped by the island’s seasons and permitting process. Here’s a general sense of what to expect once your project is underway, though exact timing depends on scope and complexity.
Kitchens & Interior Renovations
Major interior renovations, including full kitchen remodels, typically begin in early fall and are completed by June, timed around the island's quieter off-season months.
Additions
Home additions generally follow that same off-season schedule, allowing construction to move forward efficiently while minimizing disruption to your home and daily routine.
Complete Custom Homes
A full custom home typically takes approximately 12–18 months, depending on size and complexity, from start to finish.
